Cotton

Cotton futures are posting gains of 97 to 108 points in the nearby contracts at midday. The US dollar is supportive, down 500 points at noon. Online cash cotton sales on Tuesday reported by The Seam were trimmed to 18,290 bales, with prices dropping 132 points to 67.52 cents/lb. The Cotlook A index for November 21 was 145 points higher to 81.50 cents/lb. The biweekly Cotton Ginnings report will be released Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. CST. In addition, the weekly Export Sales report will be delayed until Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. CST due to the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday.

Dec 17 Cotton is at 71.98, up 108 points,

Mar 18 Cotton is at 71.19, up 105 points

May 18 Cotton is at 71.98, up 102 points

Jul 18 Cotton is at 72.400, up 97 points
