Cotton

Cotton futures are slightly higher at midday, with nearby Dec 8 points higher. In outside markets, the US dollar is steady at the moment, with crude oil 33 points lower. Weather forecasts are looking better for some Texas areas beginning today, helping harvest to move along. Online cash sales reported by The Seam dropped to 7,349 bales, as prices fell a steep 194 points to 66.75 cents/lb. The Cotlook A index for November 14 was 30 points lower to 79.60 cents/lb.

Dec 17 Cotton is at 68.68, up 8 points,

Mar 18 Cotton is at 68.68, up 3 points

May 18 Cotton is at 69.63, up 2 points

Jul 18 Cotton is at 70.200, up 4 points
