Cotton

Cotton futures are mostly 2 to 17 points higher on Friday. All upland cotton export commitments are 44.7% ahead of the week last year and are 52% of the USDA export projection. That is vs. 36% last year and the average of 41% for this week. The USDA AWP was updated to 60.55 cents/lb through next Thursday, 36 points lower than the previous week. The Cotlook A index for September 28 was down 10 points from the previous day at 78.80 cents/lb.

Dec 17 Cotton is at 68.99, up 2 points

Mar 18 Cotton is at 68.16, up 11 points

May 18 Cotton is at 68.760, up 17 points
