Cotton

Cotton futures are 46 to 70 points lower on Monday, as the US dollar is currently 510 points higher. The USDA AWP was updated to 60.55 cents/lb through next Thursday, 36 points lower than the previous week. The Cotlook A index for September 29 was up 25 points from the previous day at 79.05 cents/lb. The weekly COT report had spec traders backing off their net long position by another 6,173 contracts in Cotton futures and options. Their net position as of Tuesday was at 63,339 contracts.

Dec 17 Cotton is at 67.75, down 70 points

Mar 18 Cotton is at 67.23, down 55 points

May 18 Cotton is at 67.890, down 46 points
